Judging or Examining Oneself?
Discernment of external input, words and actions is judging for oneself, or passing judgment within. No matter who it is this happens based on whatever that persons standards may be.
This is the process every person operates on to align what is taken in with what one loves the most.
For those of Messiah to Examine oneself by the Word of Abba YAH. Without that, the standard to examine by may be whatever one can get by with or not get by with in the society in which one lives. (Therefore judge or examine what one hears or what is within by righteous Judgment by using the Word of Abba as the standard as it is told of by John.)
John 7:24 Shophet (judge) not according to appearance, but judge a tzadik mishpat (righteous judgment). Judging or discernment of what one sees of anothers actions and not just what is heard of the appearance they wish to paint. Actions Speak Louder Than Words. This is not speaking of passing judgment on another, but of the ability to discern another by judging inwardly any things believed or not, taken to Heart or not, to keep from being mislead by wolves in sheeps clothing. Judge oneself, or examine oneself by the Word of YHVH!! Romans 14:Him that is weak in the emunah (faith) receive, but not criticizing his thoughts. 2 For one believes that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 Let not him that eats meat despise him that eats no meat; and let not him who does not eat meat judge him that eats meat: for YHVH has received kol Yisrael. 4 Who are you that judges another man’s eved (servant - a servant of Yahushua the Master YHVH)? To his own Master YHVH he stands, or falls. Yes, he shall be held up too: for YHVH is able to make him stand. 1 Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that lechem (bread), and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the body of the Master YHVH. 30 For this reason many are weak and sickly among you, and many are dead. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are disciplined by YHVH, that we should not be condemned with the olam hazeh (world). 33 Therefore, my Yisraelite brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for the other. (What about the unleavened bread the physical bread represents? What about the true wine of the blood flow of the Ruach HaKodesh / Holy Spirit of YHVH the wine represents?) DISCERN FOR ONESELF. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. BE A "BEREAN" TO PROVE BY THE RIGHTEOUS LIVING WORD AND HIS WRITTEN WORD, ANY INPUT YOU RECEIVE WHETHER IT BE VISUAL OR ORAL OF WORDS OR OF WHAT IS SEEN IN ANOTHER. PASS NOT JUDGEMENT ON ANYONE BUT GIVE THE MESSAGE OF RECONCILIATION WITHOUT CONDEMNATION BY THE WORDS OF YHVH DONE IN LOVE. TAKE ANY REVILEMENT WITHOUT A REPLY. REJOICE IN THE REVILEMENT THAT MAY BE FROM ANOTHER JUDGING THEMSELVES BY THE WORD OF YAHUWEH IF THAT IS WHAT WAS GIVEN OUT OF LOVE!! EXAMINE ONESELF TO SEE WHAT IS INSIDE, TO MAKE SURE ONE IS PURE OF HEART AND TRULY IN LOVE WITH ABBA YAH TO SHOW HIS HEART OF RECONCILIATION TO ALL BY HIS LEADING NOT OUR OWN. Even these words just take them to exhort to experience Yahushua for yourself. Prove them out. Only what he shows is the good unleavened bread. Maybe this will help someone return to a contrite heart. A pure heart of love, of humility and of a sound mind, following not men but only the one worthy shepherd, Yahushua. Judging Others? That could be called one type or even a step of judgment. Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven: This rightful judge could have passed complete judgment upon the whole world and been justified in doing so. He took the first step and then what did he give back? A way of reconciliation to ALL mankind even to suffer the death at the crucifixion to show his heart of forgiveness as the Living Passover Lamb now at the right hand of Abba YAH in the heavens. The time of judgment will come but still time for reconciliation now. The hearer of the truth judging themselves by it. The heart of the servants of Abba to have his Heart that none would be judged without the righteousness of the Messiah, having his blood flow of the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit upon the altar of the heart of the living temple we are being. And is the reason for giving his words for he will be the final Judge of how one took his words to Heart or not, showing that he is loved or not.
The next type or step, takes that discernment, and begins to apply a condemnation to another that does not offer a way of reconciliation but rather hardens the heart of others. Judgment is spoken from personal words of whatever flavor even by those using scriptures in strife and causes the hearer to reject everything heard for it is of condemnation.
The messiah did not come 2000 years ago into the world as a man to condemn.
What should then a true bible believer be doing? Discern and then being of the same heart as our Messiah to offer reconciliation. Totally devoid of personal selfishness but out of total love for Abba YAH in his Spirit of Love.
Speakers and pretenders are easily spotted by any hearer.
Even in the face of being personally attacked or reviled by another which is of great reward if the heart is set to help and love.
Condemnation without showing a way of reconciliation of another person no matter what the problem or supposed 'sin' of a specific person will bring strife and will not be of any reward but of a rebuke from the savior for the words of Abba are the only message to give to another and are never either to be used for personal attacks on another person. In which case would bring a much harsher rebuke.
For example, suppose to proclaim the words of Abba YAH that he says that those who are being man with man or woman with woman are given over to a reprobate mind?
Speaking the words of Abba YAH, are not words of judgment but proclaiming his words to others. When the hearer receives the input, if the shoe fits or not, they discern the words and judge themselves by the words of Abba. In the above example, if the shoe does not fit they may rejoice at not being turned over to a reprobate mind. But, in all cases what words are to be used? To also show that repentance is the heart of our Messiah and he asks one to come out of sin and to be forgiven by having his righteousness and to walk in him, and to set the heart to sin no more.
The message is to proclaim the words of Abba. Let the hearer judge themselves. Return no revilement by them of judging themselves in like response but set the heart to keep fixed on the Messiah and only respond with ways of reconciliation that he has paid a great price for. Love your enemies is the best response. Not at all using the Word of Abba for personal attacks but to show others the way to eternal life.
The one creator of all things coming in the heavens now, Yahushua Is Yahuweh, the second time will bring the vengeance and judgment with him and set his people upon thrones for judgment of even the fallen angels and all of the rebellion from the greatest to the least. Kings and Priests, even those with a greater reward will be with Messiah Yahushua and Abba YAH who have lost their heads during this tribulation started when Messiah went to be at the right hand of Abba until the end of it not long now!
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and mishpat (judgment - not yet given) was given to them: and I saw the beings of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahshua, and for the word of YHVH, and who had not worshipped the beast, or his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Moshiach a thousand years.
I saw the ones upon thrones.
I saw the beings of them that were beheaded.
All of the saints are there who washed their robes white in the blood of the Lamb, those born again and true servants of the Messiah. Also, a greater reward for those who will live in the days ahead who will not receive anything of the 'beast'.
Emet and Ahava, Truth and Love, Shalom!
